Getting hindi fonts on linux with gnome.

Go to Systems → Preferences → keyboard → Add → India → India
Then on system tray go to USA and look to drop down menu and select India. Now on opening a word file you can type Hindi using INSCRIPT
While typing you can change language by aain going to the drop down menu.
